Changing Lives Through Love and the Power of the Horse
Small Miracles was founded through love to enhance the physical, social-emotional, cognitive and behavioral growth of individuals with special needs by means of equine-assisted services and therapies.
Small Miracles has been serving the Kingsport community since 1995 and currently serves over 300 students per year in the upper Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia regions.
Love and Care
Small Miracles relies on the guidance and support of an active board of directors, a giving community, dedicated professionals, a caring and knowledgeable staff, and our horse partners. All are an integral and beloved part of our team and family.
Instilling Courage • Offering Hope • Providing Healing
Small Miracles’ Equine-Assisted Services & Therapies (EAST) programs, both mounted (on horse) and unmounted, enhance the personal growth, development and life skills of all participants, enabling them to live life to their fullest potential and as self-sufficiently as possible. Through God’s hand, this equine-human collaboration brings together horses, individuals with special needs, caring volunteers and professionals, to enrich the lives of everyone involved.
God's Mission at Work
Volunteering at Small Miracles is an experience of a lifetime. It helps with depression, abusive family/relationships, or any other negative thing in your life.

Volunteer“He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed; miracles that cannot be counted.”
Job 5:9
Bible“I realized that Tucker [equine partner] could do something that no doctor, therapist, shrink, friend or family could do for me—he could LISTEN. The jobs I did in the military are classified. I can never tell another human being the horrible evil I have seen. I can tell Tucker anything and he will never tell. More important, he will never judge; he doesn't care what I've done. He loves me. This is the BEST therapy I could ever have and more than I thought possible.”
