Small Miracles Therapeutic Equestrian Center

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at Small Miracles is a great way to:

  • Earn volunteer hours towards scholarships
  • Complete volunteer hours for a college class or internship
  • Get involved in the community
  • Give back
  • Learn about horses
  • Learn about children
  • Make new friends
  • Stay physically active
  • Try something new

Volunteers are a vital part of our program! Approximately 100 volunteers are needed each week to assist with lessons. Other volunteer opportunities include office assistance, facility maintenance, horse care, special events, and fundraising. Commit to as little or as much time as your schedule allows. We are thankful for all our volunteers!

No prior experience is necessary! We will train you. Volunteer training is provided at our facility on an on-going basis. For more information about the many volunteer opportunities at Small Miracles or to attend a volunteer training session, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Linda McBride.

Hi there! I’m a senior at Science Hill High School in Johnson City, Tennessee. I don’t have much experience with horses, but I have always loved animals and my ultimate goal right now is to go into the medical field to help people, so working at Small Miracles seems like a great way to start! I’d love to see what you all do at Small Miracles and become a volunteer over the Summer myself, so if you can get back to me, that would be awesome. Thank you for your time, and my cell number is (931)-257-0667.
